Groups are the entities under which Transactions – or Documents submitted for Tasks to be performed (most likely for signatures) – are submitted. For normal scenarios, only one Group is needed (which is also the primary "Group" show below). You may wish to segment up your reporting or logins for your Users that will be using the Control Panel into sub Groups under the Primary Group.
These Groups have limited functionality compared to the Primary Group including:
- Launching Process Workflows that are shared to all Groups.
- Creating their own Workflowd and Web Forms in the Process Designer (that can be launched from their Group only).
- Access to the Status Reports (for their Group only).
